Ingredients |
- 500 grams Bengal gram flour
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1/4 teaspoon Soda bi-carb
- 1 teaspoon Chilli powder

- Water
- 1 teaspoon Carom seeds
- Oil (for frying)
- Salt (As per taste)

Method |
Sieve the flour. Make a well in the middle of the flour and pour in the oil. Mix well. Add all the other ingredients except water and mix. Add enough water to make a stiff dough.
Heat oil in a deep bottomed pan. Press the dough through a sev mould into the hot oil. Stir with a fork occasionally to prevent the sev from sticking together. Fry till the sev becomes crisp and light brown in colour.
Store in an air tight container.
