Kheema Sevai Upma (Vermicelli with Minced Meat)

Ingredients |
- 1/4 kg Minced lamb
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 2 Sliced onions
- 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon Garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 8 Curry leaves
- 3 Green chillies

- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 inch Cinnamon
- 3 Cardamom
- 3 Cloves
- 1/2 bunch Chopped coriander leaves
- 2 cups Vermicelli
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 3 cups Water

Method |
Heat oil and fry onions till golden brown. Add ginger, garlic, coriander powder, chopped curry leaves, chopped green chillies, red chilli powder, cinnamon, cardamoms, cloves and fry for 2 minutes.
Add mince and fry till brown. Add 2 cups water and cook till the mince is tender. Continue to fry till brown after the water has evaporated. Add vermicelli, fry for a few minutes. Add 1cup water, cover and cook on a low flame for about 8-10 minutes. Add lime juice.
Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
