Lachko (Bland lentils)

Ingredients |
- 1/2 cup Toovar dal
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 3 tablespoons Ghee
|
- 2 cups Water
- Salt (As per taste)

Method |
Rinse and soak the dal in water for 1 hour. Boil till the dal is tender. Drain off all the water and mash completely.
To the mashed dal add turmeric powder and season with salt. Mix well on a low flame and add 1 tablespoon of ghee. Stir briskly. Adjust seasoning as per taste.
Serve hot with rice and osaman.
