Gor Paapdi (Jaggery Pie)

Ingredients |
- 1/2 cup Ghee
- 1 cup Wheat flour
- 3/4 cup Jaggery
|
- 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom powder
- 1 pinch Salt

Method |
Melt ghee in a deep bottomed pan, add the wheat flour and cook on a low flame till light brown in colour. Remove and cool to room temperature.
Heat 1 tbsp ghee in the pan, add the jaggery and cook till the jaggery melts, stirring constantly. Add the flour, cardamom powder and salt. Stir constantly on a low flame for 10-15 minutes.
The gor paapdi is ready when the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
Remove and set in a well greased plate. Cut into desired shape. Store in an air tight jar when cool.
