Sukke Bombil (Dried Bombay Ducks)

Ingredients |
- 8 Dried Bombay ducks
- 4 Green chillies
- 1 teaspoon Tamarind paste
- 1 cup Water

- 1 medium Onion
- 2-3 tablespoons Oil
- Salt (As per taste)

Method |
Cut the bombil(Bombay ducks) into large pieces and soak in water for 30 minutes. Mix the tamarind paste in 1/2 cup water.
Heat oil in a pan, saute the finely chopped onions till they are transparent. Add the tamarind water and the chillies, cook for a few minutes. Add the bombil, salt and simmer till cooked.
Serve hot with steamed rice.
