 Stuffed Ladyfinger with Shrimps 
  • 1/2 kg Lady's finger
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 cups Shrimps
  • 1/2 Coconut
  • 5-6 Red chillies
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 Cloves
  • 1 inch Cinnamon
  • 4-5 Peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon Poppy seeds
  • 2 teaspoons Tamarind pulp
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut oil
  • Salt (As per taste)
Wash, pat dry and slit lady's fingers vertically. Lightly fry in hot oil-the coriander seeds, chillies and other spices.

Grind fried spices together with coconut, tamarind and half onion to a fine paste. Chop the shrimps and mix well with the ground masala, salt and finely chopped remaining onion. Stuff this preparation into the ladies fingers, carefully.

Heat oil. Fry the stuffed ladies finger bits to a golden colour. When crisp, remover from heat.
