Prawn Balchao (Prawn Pickle)

Ingredients |
- 1 kg Shrimps
- 1 bottle Palm feni
- 10 Garlic cloves
|
- 12 Black peppercorns
- 6 Red chillies
- Salt (As per taste)

Method |
Clean the shrimps thoroughly. Wrap them in a muslin cloth and allow to hang for about 12 hours or till all the water has drained out. Squeeze out remaining water if any. Grind the shrimps, salt, garlic, red chillies and peppercorns to a smooth paste with palm feni. Store in dry bottles.
