Ingredients |
- 1/2 kg Crabs
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 10 Curry leaves
- 4 medium Sliced onions
- 2 teaspoons Ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 cup Coconut
- 2 teaspoons Coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powde

- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1-2 teaspoons Tamarind pulp
- 3 Chopped green chillies
- 1 bunch Coriander leaves
- Water
- Salt (As per taste)

Method |
Take crab meat out of shells and wash.
Heat oil and fry the curry leaves and onions light brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry brown. Add ground coconut, saute till masala and oil separate. Mix in coriander powder and turmeric and cook on low flame for half a minute, so that it does not burn. Add crabs, salt, pepper and chilly powder, saute slightly. Add tamarind pulp to taste and half a cup of water, cover pan.
Cook on very low flame for 10-12 minutes, then simmer to reduce the liquid. Add green chillies. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti.
