 Mutton Curry 
Ingredients
  • 1 kg Mutton
  • 2 large Onions
  • 2 Green chillies
  • 1/4 teaspoon Tamarind paste
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chillies
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander seeds
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 5 Black peppercorns
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • Salt (As per taste)
Method
Finely chop one onion. Grind the red chillies, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, 1 onion, garlic and pepper to a fine paste. Pressure cook the mutton till it is 3/4th done.
Heat oil in a pan, saute chopped onions and green chillies till the onions are transparent. Add the ground masala, turmeric powder, salt and fry till oil leaves the sides of the pan. Add the partially cooked mutton, stir fry for a few minutes. Add 2 cups of water. Cover and simmer for about 30 minutes or till the mutton is completely cooked.

Serve hot with steamed rice or bread.
