Faw (Beaten rice snack)

Ingredients |
- 1 cup Rice (beaten)
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 cup Grated coconut

- 2 Green chillies
- 1 pinch Asafoetida
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- Salt (As per taste)

Method |
Wash the beaten rice (poha) and drain well. Sprinkle the turmeric powder on the rice and keep aside for 8-10 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds. When the seeds start spluttering, add the green chillies and asafoetida. Add the poha and stir well. Cook for 5 minutes. Add the coconut and salt.
Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot with tea.
