Beef Stew

Ingredients |
- 1/4 cup Peas (fresh)
- 1/4 cup Carrots
- 2 large Potatoes
- 1 large Onion
- 1 teaspoon Ginger-garlic paste
- 3 Green chillies

- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 1 small stick Cinnamon
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 teaspoon Pepper powder
- 2-3 tablespoons Oil
- Salt (As per taste)

Method |
Pressure cook the meat for 15 minutes or till it is tender. Cube the carrots and potatoes. Boil the peas, carrots and potatoes with a little salt and water.
Heat oil in a deep bottomed pan, saute chopped onions till they are transparent. Add slit green chillies and ginger-garlic paste. Saute till the ginger–garlic paste is light brown in colour. Add the cinnamon, cumin and coriander powder and stir fry for 2 minutes. Add the meat and cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the vegetables, milk and 1 cup water. Mix well. Sprinkle pepper and salt. Simmer till the gravy thickens.
Serve hot with steamed rice.
