 Tomato Soup 
  • 1/2 kg Tomatoes
  • 250 grams Bottle gourd
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 2 teaspoons Chopped ginger
  • 10 grams Jaggery
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida
  • 1/2 teaspoon Oil
  • 4-5 Curry leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1-2 Celery leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Coriander leaves
  • 800 ml Water
  • Salt (As per taste)
Boil tomato, bottle gourd, salt and coriander powder in 800 ml water. When cooked, strain and save the water. Blend the boiled vegetables in a mixer and extract the juice. Add jaggery to the water.Mix the puree with the water. Season it with oil, cumin seeds, asafoetida, celery leaves and curry leaves.

Garnish with coriander.
