Ingredients |
- 1/4 kg Refined flour
- 2 cups Coconut milk
- 1 cup Water
- 15 Egg yolks
|
- 1 kg Sugar
- 150 grams Ghee
- 2-3 drops Vanilla essence
- 1 pinch Salt

Method |
Cook the sugar and water to a syrup consistency. Add the vanilla essence and cool. Mix the flour, coconut milk, egg yolks, sugar, salt to form a pouring consistency.
Heat oil or ghee in a deep bottomed pan. Add 1 cup of the mixture, cover and grill for about 30 minutes or till a light brown layer forms on top. Press with the back of a spoon so that the ghee comes on top. Pour another cup of the mixture on the cooked layer. Repeat till a light brown layer appears on top. Spread some ghee on top of each cooked layer before pouring out the next layer. Continue till all the mixture has been used up. Serve at room temperature.
