 Thandai (Masala Milk) 
  • 2 litres Milk
  • 20 grams Khus-khus
  • 1/2 teaspoon Aniseed
  • 5-6 Peppercorns
  • 3-4 Rose petals
  • 200 grams Sugar
  • 4-5 Cardamoms (green)
  • 100 grams Cashew nuts
  • 1 pinch Kesar
Heat the milk and sugar.

Coarsely grind together the other ingredients.

Add the ground paste to the milk and mix well. Allow to cool and then chill in the refrigerator.

Add bhang if required and serve cold.
