Lauki Kheer (Bottle gourd pudding)

Ingredients |
- 1/2 kg Bottle gourd
- 1 1/2 litre Milk
- 4 tablespoons Sugar

- 6 Green cardamom
- 20 Almonds
- 1/2 cup Water
|

Method |
Grate the bottle gourd. Put the water to boil.
When the water starts boiling add the grated gourd. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes. Add milk and sugar. Simmer till thick and creamy.
Pour in a dish and garnish with almonds(blanched and sliced) and crushed cardamom seeds. |

Serve warm or cold.
