Vengaya Pakoda (Onion Pakoda)

Ingredients |
- 1 cup Gram flour (besan)
- 1/2 cup Rice flour
- 2 tablespoons Ghee
- 3 Chopped onions
- 1 Chopped potato
- 1 inch Chopped ginger
- 4 Chopped green chillies

- teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 bunch Chopped coriander leaves
- 2 teaspoons Ghee
- 1 pinch Soda bi-carb
- Oil (for frying)
- Salt(As per taste)

Method |
Mix together the ghee and soda till frothy. Add in all the remaining ingredients and make a stiff batter, using sufficient water.
Heat oil in a frying pan. Drop small spoonfuls of the batter into the oil and fry till golden in colour. Drain the excess oil in absorbent paper.
Serve hot with tomato Ketchup or Chutney.
