 Bamboo Shoot Fry 
  • 12 inch Bamboo shoot
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Fenugreek seeds
  • 4 Red chillies
  • 1 cup Oil
  • Salt (As per taste)
Remove the hard exterior of the bamboo shoot, wash and cut into small pieces. Add the baking powder and mix well.

Heat oil in a pan, add the fenugreek seeds, red chillies and salt with the bamboo shoots on a slow fire. When the bamboo shoots dry up, add 2 tbsp of water and stir.

Serve hot and crisp.
