 Sarson ka Saag 
  • 1 bunch Mustard greens
  • 1 bunch Spinach leaves
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chopped ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chopped garlic
  • 3 Green chillies
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon Maize flour
  • 2 tablespoons Ghee
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • Salt (As per taste)
Wash and chop the spinach and mustard greens. Finely grate the onion. Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
Add the spinach and the mustard greens, chopped green chillies and stir cook for a minute or two. Add ginger, garlic and stir. Add salt as per taste and 1 cup of water. Pressure cook till done (2 whistles).
Mash the boiled mixture. Heat ghee in a pan, add the grated onion and saute till brown. Mix in all the ingredients. Stir well and cook till the oil leaves the sides of the pan.

Serve hot with makki ki roti.
