Gaajar Ka Halwa

Ingredients |
- 1 Kg Red Carrots
- 1 Litre Milk
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 25 grams Almonds
- 25 grams Pistachios

- 25 grams Cashew Nuts
- 25 grams Charoli
- 1 tbsp of Cardamom
- 1 tsp Saffron Essence
- 4 tbsp of Butter

Method |
Pound all the nuts and cardamoms to a fine powder.
|
Place the carrots (Scraped and Grated fine) and the milk together in a pan and cook.
Stir frequently until the mixture turns thick and dry. Add sugar and keep on stirring until all the moisture is absorbed.
Add 4 tbsp of pure ghee and fry until golden coloured.
Serve hot sprinkled liberally with groundnuts.
