- 500 grams Coriander seeds
- 350 grams Sesame seeds
- 100 grams Red chillies
- 50 grams Cumin seeds
- 25 grams Shahjeera
- 25 grams Cassia buds
- 25 grams Asafoetida

- 20 grams Cloves
- 20 grams Cinnamon
- 20 grams Turmeric
- 15 grams Bay leaves
- 15 grams Dagad phool
- 10 grams Peppercorns
- Oil

Method |
On a lightly oiled tawa roast each ingredient, one at a time, until it emanates a toasty aroma. This helps it release its natural oils, and can take anywhere from one to five minutes each, depending on the ingredient.
When cool, grind into a fine powder and store in a dry, airtight jar and add as per recipe requirement.
