 Batata Bhaji (Maharashtrian potatoes) 
  • 5 Potatoes
  • 7 Curry leaves
  • 3 Green chillies
  • 1/2 cup Coriander
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • Salt (As per taste)
Boil, skin and cut potatoes into big pieces. Grind the green chilli,coriander, and ginger into a paste.

Heat oil in a kadhai, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, turmeric powder and the potatoes. Then add the masala paste. Stir well and cook till the potatoes are heated through. Serve hot with puris, garnished with coriander.
