Kozhierchi Thoran (Coconut based Chicken Curry)

Ingredients |
- 1 medium Chicken
- 4 Sliced onions
- 1 teaspoon Ginger-garlic paste
- 4 Green chillies
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon Chilli powder

- 1 cup Grated coconut
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 1/4 cup Coconut oil
- 2 teaspoons Nuts
- 2 teaspoons Curry leaves
- Salt (As per taste)

Method |
Heat oil in a pan and saute the onion slices, masala paste, slit chillies, coriander powder, chilli powder for a minute. Add chicken pieces, salt and enough water. Cook till the contents are tender. Add the grated coconut, mix the contents thoroughly and cook for five more minutes. Remove it from the fire and transfer the contents to serving dish.
Garnish it with the grated nuts and roasted curry leaves.
