Appam (Rice-n-Jaggery Delicacy)

Ingredients |
- 2 1/2 cups Rice
- 2 cups Grated jaggery
- 1 Grated coconut
|
- 1 teaspoon Pepper powder
- As per requirement Coconut oil

Method |
Soak the rice for two hours and grind it coarsely. Add jaggery and grind it to a smooth paste. Add required quantity of water to the paste and make a thick batter. Mix the batter, pepper powder and the grated coconut till well combined.
Heat oil in a frying pan and pour a spoonful of batter into it. Fry till golden. Drain well.
Serve hot.
