Kobari Mamsumu Pulusu (Lamb in coconut sauce)

Ingredients |
- 1/2 kg Leg of lamb
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 3 Sliced onions
- 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
- 2 Chopped green chillies
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder

- 3-4 cups Water
- 2 Potatoes
- 6 Curry leaves
- 1 cup Coconut cream
- Salt (As per taste)

Method |
Heat oil in a saucepan. Add onions, ginger paste, green chillies, 1/2 tsp garam masala, lamb and brown together. Add water and cook till the lamb is almost cooked and tender, adding more water if required. Add chopped potatoes, curry leaves, coconut cream, salt and pepper. Simmer till the mutton and potatoes are cooked, keeping about a cup and a half of gravy.
Serve with boiled rice or chapattis.
